Kenya is a country in the East Africa. In January 2008 a civil war took place because of presidential election fraud. Many children were left orphans because of this civil war.

Kenya is a place where you can understand the importance of relationships; you orient yourself around the event and not by the clock. You learn to live a simple life without electricity or water in the house. It is an opportunity to spread the Gospel with people who not long ago were worshiping spirits and even today many of them still bring offerings to the sun or to the mountain. You can relate with the children and learn joy from them. You can be an example for the families where the wife is working too much and she doesn’t have time for the kids, or you can disciple young people that gave their lives to Jesus.

India is a country in South Asia. A statistic states that 412,000,000 of India's population have never heard the name of Jesus. In India there are over 330,000,000 gods that the people worship. The country has over 2,500 ethnic groups and there are 1,600 spoken languages and dialects.

The people are very hospitable and religious but they live in a deep spiritual darkness. Most of the Indians are Hindu, but there are also other people that belong to different religions: Muslims, Christians, Sikh, Buddhists, Jains and Animists. In comparing the number of people to the number of Christians, India is the country with the biggest need for missionaries.

Serbia is a country in south-eastern Europe and is a neighbor of Romania. The majority of Serbia's population is orthodox and it is hard to come in with the Gospel.

The evangelical Christians make up 1.3% of the population, mostly living in the big cities. There are cities with no evangelical presence and also with no orthodox churches. People there don't really see the purpose of the church so they lean towards atheism and secularism. We will serve in Uzice, a city with only 3 evangelical Christians. In Uzice there is a Youth With a Mission team that is planting a base there

Turkey is a country on two continents, has an old and rich history, but at the same time is a member of the modern world. This wonderful country represents a mixture of cultures, a synthesis between east and west. From a geographical point of view, it represents the bridge between Europe and Asia. Approximately 99% of the population is registered as Muslim.

Oltenia is one of the areas in Romania with the biggest spiritual need. This is despite the fact that the important Bible translator, Dumitru Cornillescu is from this area. He was born in Slasoma, Mehedinti district.

The Oltenia region has 5 districts: Olt, Valcea, Mehedinti, Gorj and Dolj.
